We are proud to offer quality teaching programmes to suit all levels and ages. We are a dance and performing arts academy.  Vocal training, acting, dance fitness and technical dance can all be studied with us.  We have been established since 1932.  And we are a thriving family business.

Whether you are a beginner, an accomplished professional or just seeking extra enjoyment from dancing, Newcastle Dance Centre has a programme designed especially with you in mind.

Lessons are available from our team of highly qualified and motivated dance teachers, as well as our principles Michael Conway, Mavis Whiteside and Hayley Conway. Our team has vast experience in teaching beginners, medallists, competitors, professional dancers and training for professional teaching qualifications.

Due to the Dance Centre being family owned, we are proud of our 'family' atmosphere.  Many of our teachers were past pupils and some have been with us for more than 20 years.  We have seen former students bring their children and grandchildren back to us for training, which continues and strengthens the family connection.  We feel that this close relationship between principals, instructors and pupils, enables us to achieve a unique and friendly environment!
