Hayley Conway Turnbull

Along with a fantastic team of independent teachers. Newcastle Dance Centre is owned and ran by one family… and this family have ran the centre for decades.
Hayley often draws knowledge from her parents Michael and Mavis who are now retired from the business and work in ‘Director Emeritus’ roles.
Hayley is a Fellow of the IDTA and a Member of the UKA. Hayley teaches all styles of dance, both Theatre and Ballroom branch subjects and is the driving force behind NDC. She is passionate about developing pupils of all ages and abilities, giving them a safe and nurturing space to grow and develop, whilst offering them quality dance tuition and exciting opportunities.
Hayley’s professional experience is extensive, especially in the field of choreography and has worked with major TV companies, as well as events, theatre productions and promotions.
She also leads NDC’s sister company Encore Dance Entertainment Group and choreographs dancers for bands, fashion shows and productions. She is a Carl Alan Award winner for dance and has worked with the likes of Cheryl Tweedy and Ant & Dec in their younger days.
NDC Teaching Staff
We have an incredible team of talented and dedicated individuals involved with NDC. Each independent teacher has their own specialities in dance. That could be the theatre subjects, Latin American, Ballet, Musical Theatre and so on.
They are the essential part of NDC and deliver their classes with passion, commitment and sense of pride.
All teaching and support staff are First Aid Trained, Enhanced DBS checked and hold Safe Guarding Qualifications.
