Modern stage is an exciting and dynamic dance style.  Imagine it as learning to dance to be on the Royal Variety or West End Show…. eventually!

It is a technical subject which includes varying rhythms and styles and includes the whole body.  You may explore contrast between expansion and relaxation or learn to isolate in a slick stylish mood. Kicks, leaps, spins and the connecting steps are all included to make this an exciting class.

Music varies and can be anything from Pop music to West End Shows.  Emotion and interpretation of any musical genre is required. One minute you may be dancing to the rhythm of a drum, the next to a funky jazz style.

Classes are structured to begin to prepare the physical strength and flexibility required to demonstrate the required steps and movements as well as the technique which is essential. 

Whatever the atmosphere of the class, it will be a wonderful opportunity to react and interact with other members and really dance!
